This was an Japan Tiger and Elephant Fund (JTEF) held at the Indian embassy in Tokyo on September 25, 2010. This was to bring awareness to their causes; the Tiger Conservation Fund, Elephant Conservation Fund, Iriomote Cat Conservation Fund, and stopping the ivory trade. Those who spoke or performed at this event were: Vibek Menon, Chief Executive Officer of Wildlife Trust of India, Kumi Togawa, a well-known animal novelist, Mieko Kinjo, and sitar player Chandrakant Saradeshmukh, and the theatrical group Theatre de MUIBO.
