These are Marlboro cigarettes being sold in vending machines on the streets of Tokyo. Many of these views show promotions for "Marlboro One Black Menthol", the new brand of smokes that contains only 1 MG of nicotine. This American brand is distributed in Japan through Philip Morris International (PMI) which In May 2005 ended it's 32 year license agreement with Japan Tobacco Inc. to sell the Marlboro brand in Japan. Currently there are some 30 million smokers in Japan and Marlboro is one of the top selling brands. The legal smoking age in Japan is age twenty and in order to purchase smokes from these vending machines, customers must use an age verification Taspo" card (short for tobacco passport)...
