This is world renowned chef Joel Robuchon shortly after arriving Tokyo on February 6, 2009. Here is seen here having dinner at a high end Japanese tempura restaurant called Tempura Tensei which is listed with one star in the Japanese Michelin Guide. The kimono woman is pouring him sake. The two Japanese men next to him are Mitsugu Yasuda (1st on his left) who's closely assisting Robuchon during his stay in Japan, and Ken Matsui (2nd on his left), Senior Managing Director of Four Seeds Corporation his is Robuchon's partner company in Japan. Robuchon traveled from his home base in Paris via Air France to attend an international food exposition called "2009 Tokyo Taste". This three day event from February 9-11, 2009 showcases some of the world's most famous chefs including Robuchon and Ferran Adria (of El Bulli) who are both Honorary Advisors to this event. Other chefs participating in this event are Heston Blumenthal, Pierre Gagnaire, Jacques Puisais, Bruno Menard, Herve This, Ferran Adria, and Nobuyuki Matsuhisa to name a few. Robuchon also has restaurants in Tokyo and Nagoya Japan including; L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon and the prestigious Le Chateau de Joel Robuchon. These establishments are connected with Four Seeds Corporation, a Japanese corporation that owns and operates several popular restaurant chains around Japan.
