This is the Lexus LF-Ch with Toyota Motor Corp. President Akio Toyoda at the 41st Tokyo Motor Show 2009, Oct 21, 2009 (press day). Unveiled in September 2009 at the Frankfurt Intl. Motor Show, this luxury four door hybrid hatchback has a "2.4 L inline-four" cylinder gasoline engine with electric motor. The interior features wood, polished aluminum, and semi-aniline leather, along with paddle shifters, a turbine-style instrument panel, and Lexus' Remote Touch control interface with pop-up information screen. The Tokyo Motor Show is a biannual auto show. This year's event runs from Oct. 23, 2007 to Nov. 4, 2009 and the theme of this year's show is "Fun Driving for Us, Eco Driving for Earth". However even with this upbeat theme, many international auto makers were conspicuously absent due to the worldwide slump in auto sales.
