As a part of its "Tokyo Plan 2000," the Tokyo Metropolitan Government released its "Urban Development Guidelines for the Akihabara Area" in 2001. The result was "AKIHABARA CROSSFIELD", a high rise complex that includes Akihabara Daibiru Building and AKIHABARA UDX located just in front of JR Akihabara Station. This view shows the crosswalk connecting the two buildings. Photo taken March 27, 2008.
