This is Yukio Osada, a test drivers performing a road tests on the luxury Lexus sedan, the LS600h, a hybrid launched in Japan in May of 2007. This car retails in Japan for 12 million yen or about $100,000. This test was done on a special track located at Toyota Motor Corp's Tahara plant in Aichi Prefecture where they manufacture the Lexus models: LS600h, 600hl, LS460, 460L, GS450h, 430, 350, 300, IS350 and 250. On average there are 670 Lexus manufactured here every day, or about one every 83 seconds coming off the line. Osada has been a test driver for Toyota for the past twenty years. In addition to the Lexus models cranked out here, Toyota also makes the Land Cruiser Prado, 4 Runner and RAV4 sport vehicles.
