November 21, 2016, Tokyo, Japan: Autumn foliage at Tokyo’s Shinjuku Gyoen, a botanical garden in the center of the city that dates back to the 19th century. Formerly part of the Imperial Palace Outer Garden grounds, this 144 acre garden with over 20,00 trees used to be exclusively reserved for Japan’s Imperial family. In 1949 it was opened to the public and is now classified as a national garden. Photo by Torin Boyd.
