This is the BMW Hydrogen 7, a dual-mode twelve-cylinder auto which combines both conventional gasoline and hydrogen. This vehicle is considered a new type of auto free of pollutants and independent of fossil fuels. The car delivers 260 hp as well as driving comfort with a maximum range of more than 500 kilometers or 310 miles. The fuels types can be selected by easily pressing a button to switch over from one fuel to the other. This was during the 40th Tokyo Motor Show, held in Makuhari, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. This biannual auto show runs from Oct. 27, 2007 to Nov. 11, 2007, but this photo was taken during a press preview on Oct. 25, 2007.
