This is world renowned chef Joel Robuchon in Tokyo, Japan. He is seen here on February 7, 2009 visiting his exclusive restaurant Le Chateau de Joel Robuchon located in Tokyo's Ebisu Garden Place. The man with him (shaved bald head) is Eric Bouchenoire, one of his top ranking chefs who traveled with him from Paris. Robuchon was in town to attend an international food exposition called "2009 Tokyo Taste". This three day event from February 9-11, 2009 showcases some of the world's most famous chefs including Robuchon and Ferran Adria (of El Bulli) who are both Honorary Advisors to this event. Other chefs participating in this event are Heston Blumenthal, Pierre Gagnaire, Jacques Puisais, Bruno Menard, Herve This, Ferran Adria, and Nobuyuki Matsuhisa to name a few. Robuchon has restaurants in Tokyo and Nagoya Japan including; L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon and Le Cafe Joel Robuchon. These establishments are connected with Four Seeds Corporation, a Japanese corporation that owns and operates several popular restaurant chains around Japan.
