designer_Tsukioka_024.jpg

This is Aya Tsukioka, a very imaginative clothing designer who teaches at Musashino Art University on the outskirts of Tokyo. She is seen here with her creations of garments and accessories that can be quickly converted to mimic street objects. This includes a dress that can be made to look like the facade of a coke vending machine, a child's school backpack that can look like a Japanese fire hydrant, and a pouch that looks like a manhole cover for concealing items. Tsukioka's creations are based on camouflage and security if the need arises. She is seen here at her university showing her designs.
